Privacy is a game of logic. We're keeping it transparent—straight-up facts about your data, no filler. We've optimized this policy to be direct, compliant (Apple/Google), and smart. Here is how Maxify operates.
1. What We Scoop Up & Why
We're not nosy—promise. Since there is no forced login, everything you do is tied to an anonymous Device ID. Here's the data we process to make the magic happen:
- Selfies & Images: Used for Facial Scans (GlowUp / Max Looks) and AskOut. For Android users, images are uploaded to our totally safe database to power the "Globe" for international Mog Battles.
- Chat Screenshots: Uploaded for Situationship Reports. The Situationship Report / Love Vibe features are strictly for entertainment purposes and do not provide any real advice. By uploading chat screenshots, you acknowledge that all the data shared is your responsibility. You accept sharing this data and you accept the terms of use of Maxify.
- Location Data: Location data is utilized solely to facilitate the AskOut sender-hint feature. Maxify collects and stores only approximate, rounded location information (at the city or area level) on our own proprietary, secure servers. This data is strictly used for internal feature functionality and is never transmitted to any AI sub-processor or independent third party under any circumstances.
- Text Prompts: The text you type into the AI chat to get that Rizz or social mastery advice.
- Device ID & Purchases: Used securely to unlock your premium features without needing a traditional account. We track that a purchase was made via your Device ID so you don't lose access.
2. Data Sub-processors (AI Partners)
To provide our advanced analysis features, Maxify engages Google, OpenAI, and OpenRouter as formal Data Sub-processors under Article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These entities process data strictly on behalf of Maxify and under the terms of a formal Data Processing Agreement (DPA). They are contractually prohibited from utilizing any processed data—including selfies, chat screenshots, or text prompts—for their own independent purposes, specifically including the training of artificial intelligence models. Data is securely routed to these sub-processors for the sole purpose of generating the requested output and is discarded following processing. Maxify does not sell or share data with independent third parties for marketing or any other external use. All sub-processor engagements are conducted in full compliance with GDPR and CCPA standards.
3. Data Storage & Deletion
- Our Servers: Images you upload for the AskOut feature and the Mog Battles Globe are kept securely on our servers to display your profile in the arena or AskOut link. They are locked down, totally safe, and are never used to train models.
- AI Processing: Photos and chat screenshots used for AI rating and Situationship reports are securely sent to our AI sub-processors strictly for processing and are not retained by them beyond the generation of the report.
- Formal Deletion Clause: Users may exercise their right to erasure by utilizing the "Delete Account" button within the application settings. This action triggers a permanent and irreversible purge of all server-side data associated with the user's anonymous Device ID. Because Maxify operates without traditional login credentials, once this deletion is confirmed, the data cannot be recovered.
- Local Data: Most of your history stays local on your phone. If you delete the app without using the in-app deletion tool, your local history is cleared from the device, though server-side data may persist until the "Delete Account" function is used.
4. Who's Got Access?
- Us: Only our tiny crew of tech wizards who keep Maxify running.
- Sub-processors: Google, OpenAI, and OpenRouter process data for AI analysis. RevenueCat acts as a sub-processor solely for the purpose of purchase receipt verification and subscription lifecycle management. These processors are contractually bound to data protection standards and do not have access to your personal data for their own independent use.
- No Third Party Selling: We do not sell, share, or otherwise disclose your data to independent third parties for advertising or commercial purposes.
5. Your Power Moves
You're the boss of your info. Because everything is anonymous, you hold all the power on your own device. If you delete the app, your local history goes with it. Donezo. To reset your AskOut info, you can easily just reset or remake your link. Since Maxify uses an anonymous account system tied to your app store ID and Device ID, restoring your purchases is as simple as tapping the Restore button.
6. Subscription Deets
We don't store your credit card info—that's all handled securely by Apple and Google via RevenueCat. Check their privacy policies for how they vibe with your card details. We just get a secure receipt that says you paid, not how.
7. Age Compliance
Maxify is designed for users aged 13 and older (COPPA compliant). We don't enforce an 18+ wall, but be smart—AI analysis and social mastery features can handle mature themes. Users and their guardians are responsible for appropriate use. We have a zero-tolerance policy for data from anyone under 13; if detected, it is purged immediately.
